Card and board games you can play with friends online

Deal & Roll is a free website of multiplayer card games and board games you play online with friends and family, straight in the browser. One person opens a table and shares a short code or link. Everyone else joins from a phone, tablet or laptop, and bots take any seat nobody is sitting in. There is nothing to download and no sign-up.

There are 22 games. You'll find Gulf and Levantine card classics like Tarneeb and Baloot, Texas Hold'em with play chips, property trading and island building board games, a crossword tile word game, party and hidden role games for big groups, and quick two player games. Each one has its full rules, table options and a short guide on its own page, so it works for a family game night, a long distance hangout, or a few rounds on your break.

Questions

Is Deal & Roll free?

Yes. Every game is free to play and there is nothing to download. Chips, coins and money inside the games are pretend and have no real value, so nothing can be bought, won or cashed out.

Do I need an account to play?

No. Pick a name and a face and start playing. An account is optional: sign in with your email if you want your results and favourite games saved across devices. You can delete the account from its settings page at any time.

How do I play with friends online?

Open any game and choose Play online with friends. You'll get a five letter table code and an invite link. Send either one to your friends: the link takes them straight to your table, or they can type the code on the home page. When everyone is sitting down, press start.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes. The games run in the browser on phones, tablets and computers, and players on different devices can share a table. There is no app to install.

What if we don't have enough players?

Bots fill any empty seat, so a four player game like Tarneeb works with two friends. You can also practise alone against bots in any game before playing with people.

How many people can play at one table?

It depends on the game. The quick duels are for two, the card tables seat up to ten, and Werewolves takes up to fifteen. Each game page lists its player count and typical length.
